APE Corporation femtosecond/picosecond optical parametric oscillator (OPO)
Optimized for obtaining high-output and narrow-linewidth picosecond light pulses using a mode-locked picosecond Nd:YVO4 laser as the excitation light source in a synchronously pumped OPO.
The optical parametric oscillator (OPO), Levante, and Levante-Emerald use the second harmonic of a mode-locked Nd:YVO4 laser as the excitation light source, making them optimal light sources for obtaining high-output, narrow-linewidth femtosecond and picosecond pulses in the visible to near-infrared range. They can continuously tune wavelengths in the near-infrared region (680-2300 nm), making them ideal light sources for experiments requiring multi-wavelength excitation, such as CARS microscopy (532 nm excitation). The control software has been renewed to enable fully automated control, making wavelength tuning easy.
